On the 31st of January 2023, representatives from GMB EMAS (Ian Burton Branch President, Mark Dawn Branch Secretary, and Dan Roizer Branch Executive) visited the Houses of Parliament to meet with MPs and discuss the important issue of NHS pay and conditions. With the support of Labour MPs, who visited to show solidarity and to urge the government to take part in meaningful discussions on these issues.

During the visit, the reps had the opportunity to meet with over 55 MPs, including Will Quince MP – Minister for Health and Secondary Care, expressing the concerns of our members and campaigning for better pay and conditions. The delegation was determined to make sure that their voices were heard and that the hardworking NHS staff were given the recognition they deserved.
