GMB@EMAS have today had the validated results confirmed for the East Midlands Ambulance Service consultative ballot.

We issued 1811 ballot notifications

Returned……..1175 (65%)

Votes for………1037 (89% of votes returned)

This is a clear mandate to undertake a statutory CIVICA ballot.

The National Ambulance Committee will be meeting next week to work out the process from here. We will also have a better idea of the Ambulance sector and the NHS as a whole.

The CIVICA ballot will be a paper ballot as per Trade Union Law, and so you will need to look out for those letters arriving. We will let you know in good time.
