POA

EMAS has said that crews intending to strike from midnight on 11 January 2023, but are POA will be prioritised for rapid handover, yet need to see patient care through until they are released. Whilst this is not a guaranteed process, every effort will be made to release these crews in as timely a manner as possible.

Deduction of Pay

EMAS has confirmed that no deductions of pay for industrial action in December will be taken until payday in February 2023. GRS is being used to record what hours have been worked, but this is still in progress.

Statutory & Mandatory Education

Statutory & Mandatory education (and any other Trust-provided training courses) are NOT being cancelled on strike day. Staff retain their right to go on strike, and the Trust will then rebook the affected staff members onto another course when possible. Any staff intending to strike are requested to let their training centre know their intentions prior to the course starting.
