GMB members are invited to attend Beechdale Ambulance Station on Tuesday 17 February 2026 to meet GMB General Secretary, Gary Smith, who will be visiting the EMAS region.

This visit is a great opportunity for members to meet Gary in person, raise issues that matter to you, and hear directly from the union’s national leadership about the challenges facing ambulance staff and the wider NHS workforce.

Gary will be spending time at Beechdale meeting with local GMB representatives and staff, listening to concerns, and discussing the priorities for members working across EMAS.
