As the ongoing dispute between Unions and the UK government over pay and conditions shows no signs of abating, we are announcing that our industrial action will continue. Our members have been taking part in strike action over the past few months, as talks with the government failed to result in a satisfactory resolution.

Despite the ongoing industrial action, GMB EMAS has scheduled further meetings after Monday 20th February to discuss our next steps.
The dispute between GMB and the UK government centers on pay and conditions for emergency services workers. We believe that our members are not being paid adequately for the work they do, and we will continue to fight for fair treatment for our members.
