Here at GMB EMAS it’s essential for us to know and understand events that happen to our members in order or us to identify themes and address them quickly to the Trust.

Currently, we only receive reports from members when this is highlighted to us. However, we ask that if a member thinks GMB should be informed of an incident, they add the following comments to the incident details box if your IR1 meets any of the following;

• Personal Injuries
• Workplace Accidents
• Violence and Aggression
• OR other Health and Safety Incidents

Please add the following comment.

“PLEASE INFORM MY GMB UNION HEALTH AND SAFETY REP”

This will ensure the manager who deals with your IR1 informs the Union so we can better address concerns and ensure your welfare moving forward.
