GMB’s Midlands Region has a dedicated financial safety net for driving members. The GMB Midlands Motor Drivers’ Fund offers support for motoring fines and road traffic incidents for just 25p a week.

The fund is open exclusively to GMB members in the Midlands Region and is designed to provide practical help when unexpected driving costs arise. Whether it’s a speeding ticket, a parking violation, or a more serious road traffic incident, the fund steps in to ease the financial burden on members.

Beyond financial assistance, the fund also gives members access to a dedicated solicitor to help navigate any legal challenges stemming from road incidents. This could prove invaluable when members find themselves facing court proceedings or complex insurance disputes.

Signing up is straightforward. Members simply complete an online form, receive email confirmation, and can begin making claims once their membership is accepted and registered. The entire process takes just a few minutes.

GMB Midlands says the fund recognises how central driving is to members’ everyday lives, not just for work, but for family and independence. The regional initiative reflects a broader commitment to practical, tangible support that goes beyond the workplace.
