GMB Ballot arriving soon

Published 13th March 2026 by GMB EMAS

Your ballot paper has been dispatched and will arrive shortly in an Orange envelope.

Don’t delay, VOTE straight away.

Please Vote for Industrial Action if –

You are unhappy with the reduction in FRV or

You are unhappy with the rota principles or

You are unhappy with the “new” rota or

You are unhappy with the whole process and want a 12 month pause.

If you are happy with the “new” rota but want to support your fellow GMB Union members who are unhappy, you can still vote for Industrial Action.

Please Vote against Industrial Action –

If you are happy with the ” new” rota and none of the above apply.

Your voice needs to be heard.

A BIG THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO HAS COMMENTED ON THEIR ROTA.

We have had over 500 responses, we discussed these results with the CEO and Director of Operations on the 12th March 2026. We have reached a position with the trust that where there is not clear agreement on rotas these will be paused until July 2026 to allow an agreement to be reached… this is all based on your valuable feedback … despite the opinion of the trust that agreements have been reached in 85% of all rotas … our data …. your data paints a very different picture.

We provided evidence the trust could not ignore … this was a meeting with Senior GMB officials and the CEO/ Director of Operations only … Unison were not involved in this meeting.

Reps will be contacting managers in areas where issues have been identified to see how the rotas have been arrived at.

The balloting process still continues … negotiations are ongoing …. In the meantime …keep the faith.
