EMAS pause all aspects of the rota review after GMB notify the Trust of our intent to Ballot for Industrial Action
CEO Richard Henderson has stepped in to avert an Industrial Ballot commencing by writing to GMB@EMAS Branch suspending the process on Rota’s, FRV and Rota Principles to allow for further negotiations.
The status quo will remain. This means that you will remain on your current [not newly agreed] rotas for a period of time. We are mindful that some of our members may have reached an agreement on new rota’s going forward and this will be considered in our upcoming meetings with the trust.
Full details will be discussed at an emergency meeting with the CEO and Senior Leadership Team (SLT) which will be arranged within the next 10 days and this will be communicated to GMB members in due course.
This intervention by the CEO means that the Industrial Action ballot by GMB will also be paused.
Thank you for your continued support and solidarity.
