GMB EMAS objected to the recent changes to the Meal Break Deployment prior to it being implemented. However, despite our objection, EMAS have introduced this on a trial basis. 

We are concerned about the potential impact on the wellbeing of our Front-Line Colleagues as well as our Patients.

We will be monitoring the trial and gathering evidence of any negative impact the trial is having on our colleagues or patients.
